Red Trail - The red trail is shown on the map as Rl - R6. The trail starts on the flat land off Rt. 41 A, loops down hill to Bear Swamp Creek and then climbs up hill back to the trail register on Hartnet Road. The long loop of trails Rl, R2, R4, and R5 is 3.2 miles in length, while the shorter loop of Rl and R6 is only 2.1 miles long. Trail sections and their lengths are:

Red 1 - 1.6 miles
Red 2 - .8 miles
Red 4 - .3 miles
Red 5 - .5 miles
Red 6 - .5 miles
Red 3 is .2 miles and connects the red trail to the blue trail across Bear Swamp Creek.
Snowmobiling is allowed on a section of Red 1 and Red 6.

Blue Trail - The blue trail is shown on the map as B 1 - B7. It includes a short section Y4 of the yellow trail. The trail offers a contrast between easy travel on the lower parts of the trail and tougher uphill climbs to the higher parts of the forest. Entrance to this trail can be gained from the Curtin Road parking lot. The entire blue trail is 3.6 miles long. B5 is a .2 mile dead end trail that offers a spectacular view of Bear Swamp. Trail sections and their lengths arc:

Blue 1 - .7 miles
Blue 2 - .8 miles
Blue 3 - .5 miles
Blue 4 - .2 miles
Blue 5 - .2 miles
Blue 6 - .4 miles
Blue 7 - .6 miles

Yellow 4 is .2 miles long and connects Blue 2 and 3.

Yellow Trail - The yellow trail is shown on the map as Yl - Y9. The trail consists of 3 loops with the longest totaling 4.6 miles. The trail offers the ease of traveling on level ground along with the challenge of hill climbing. On trail Y6 there is a view of Skaneateles Lake and the eastern shore of the lake. Along side trail Y9 is the high point in Cayuga County with an elevation above 1860 feet.
