Please bring an appetizer to share (if you’re able — not required).
Beverages—including beer, cider, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options featuring New York State farm products—will be available for purchase. All are welcome—come for the conversation, community, and inspiration for next season.
During the evening, we’ll take some time for a casual “share” — your favorite ski spots, new discoveries, or go-to trails.
Nothing formal — just a chance to:
Share a favorite place you skied this year
Talk about a destination you’d return to
Or hear ideas and inspiration from others for next season
Come ready to share a quick story — or just come and enjoy hearing from others.
Chase the Snow Saturday Ski Tour
Date: Our season may be over but you never know. Any changes to be announced via the Club Google Group Email List
Time: TBA
Destination: TBA
Tour Leader: TBA
Chase the Snow Ski Tours normally take place on Saturdays. The primary purpose of the Chase the Snow Ski Tours is to offer a ski tour to a popular destination dependent on the current snow conditions. The destination and details of the ski tour may not be known until a few days (or even the day before) in advance. We will post the destination and details by no later than Friday at 7 PM. Details of the ski tour will be posted to the club’s Google Group Email List. Please make sure you are subscribed to the Google Group Email List so that you receive timely emails.
Click for more details.
The Chase the Snow Ski Tours are largely targeted to novice and intermediate skiers and are intended to be social and an opportunity to meet other skiers and explore ski trails. When specific details are posted about the ski tour, the Tour Leader will provide more information about the destination, where to meet, length of tour, trail difficulty, etc.
The number of Chase the Snow Ski Tours that the club can offer depends enormously on those who volunteer to lead a tour. We encourage you to consider leading or co-leading a tour. More information about leading or co-leading a tour can be found here. Please contact Jen Woltjen, Tour Coordinator at jennifer.woltjen@gmail.com if you are interested in leading a tour.
