Stay Tuned for Next Year!

Cayuga Nordic Ski Club is excited to offer an event and venue to help our nordic community share/sell/swap their gear.   Come join us,  catch up with fellow nordic enthusiasts and  enjoy some refreshments as you  explore the gear available.    Club members will be on hand to answer questions and offer gear advice.

Do you have nordic gear (cross country skiing, back country skiing, etc) sitting in your basement, garage, gear closet that you haven't used in years?  Maybe you have outgrown your gear and wish to upgrade it?  Are you ready to upgrade to a new set of skis or boots?   Do you have children who have outgrown their equipment/clothing?    Start collecting your stuff!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this event open to the community?  Yes, this event is open to the public.  No admission is charged if you wish to come, look, and buy gear.

If I wish to buy gear, how do I pay for it?   All buyers will pay the seller (not the club) directly.   Therefore, be prepared to bring cash, check(s) or use Venmo/Paypal.

Do I need to be a member of the Cayuga Nordic Ski Club to bring gear to sell/swap?   Yes, membership is required if you wish to become a vendor (seller).      Join today online at www.cayuganordicski.org/join

What kind of nordic gear can I bring to sell/swap?   You can bring any gear related to cross country, backcountry skiing such as skis, poles, boots, roller ski equipment, clothing, gloves, waxes, ski brushes, bindings, etc.   Both adult and children's gear and clothing welcome and encouraged.

How will I sell/swap my items at the event?  Similar to having a garage sale but at a central location, the Club will provide tables and space to sellers to display and sell  their items.    You need to be present to sell/swap your items.   You are responsible for your own gear.

How is the money collected from the sales?  Vendors (sellers) are responsible for collecting   monies from their sales.   Sellers can choose how they wish to be paid (check, cash, PayPal/Venmo etc.). The Club does not participate in any collection of monies from the gear sales.

What happens to my gear that I cannot sell at the Gear Sale?   You are responsible to remove any unsold gear and take it home with you.

What do I have to do to become a vendor (seller)?    We would like to know if you plan on bringing nordic gear to sell/swap so we can estimate how many tables we may need.       If you think you may bring gear to sell,  then please complete this short interest form (no longer available).   We will confirm with you before the event.
