All members, participants and volunteers in CNSC activities agree to the following: 

Waiver and Release from Liability

By agreeing to the Cayuga Nordic Ski Club (CNSC) Waiver, I acknowledge that I freely wish to participate in events/tours/activities organized by CNSC knowing that there are risks that could possibly involve damage to personal property, personal injury, including permanent disability and death, as well as social and economic losses which may result not only from my own actions, inactions or negligence, but of the actions, inactions or negligence of others, the conditions or premises, or of any equipment used. 

I fully understand that as a member/volunteer/participant, I assume all responsibility for my personal safety, that I understand the requirements of the activity or event, and that I am in good health and proper physical condition to participate. 

I also understand that there are variables that are unknown and unpredictable such as trail/road conditions, obstacles, weather conditions, detours, traffic, map errors, interaction with other participants, etc. that could affect the event/activity and that it is up to me to be responsible for my safety and make safe decisions accordingly while not jeopardizing the safety of other participants. 

I assume all the foregoing risks and accept full personal responsibility for all expenses, medical or otherwise, should such damages, injury, permanent disability or death occur.  And I agree for myself, my family and heirs to release Cayuga Nordic Ski Club, its officers, Board of Directors, members, volunteers and tour/hike leaders from any and all liability claims, losses, and/or damages which may occur during these events/tours/activities.
